Julie Eveleigh is an experienced solicitor who specialises in SEND law. After a career mainly in the City as a commercial property lawyer she signed up as a volunteer with IPSEA, the special educational needs law charity and in 2014 set up her own legal practice dedicated to supporting parents of children and young people with SEND. As a parent herself, she is well aware of the additional pressures of caring for a child or young person who has unmet special educational needs or is transferring from one phase of education to another. There are stresses enough in day-to-day life without having to battle with the Local Authority.
She has worked with parents of children with a wide range of SEND including, ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay, Down’s Syndrome, Dyscalculia, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Genetic Disorders, medical conditions, Sensory Integration Disorders, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Speech, Language and Communication Needs.
She is committed to doing all she can to secure for her clients the support, provision and early years, school or college placement that their children need so as to flourish, achieve their potential, and be prepared for whatever the future may hold.
She provides a high quality bespoke service and well-informed and practical advice. She is very approachable and will do her utmost to be available when clients need her.
About Julie Eveleigh
"The service and attention and care were faultless! Thank you for your fantastic support. We would not have achieved this result without you. Your professionalism was of the highest standard in addition to your care and compassion.
"It is not possible to improve on the excellent service I received. We couldn't have hoped for a better solicitor. Julie was friendly, professional, imaginative, practical, empathetic, kind, efficient and her support was unparalleled.
"LA ultimately conceded. Julie, you gave us sound and sensible advice throughout. Always available email/phone. Super thorough and persistent when needed! Easy to work with, excellent understanding of the process and empathy to child's and parents' needs."
"I was told the capped price so I had one less thing to worry about. We are grateful for the work that was done after the LA had conceded and the capped fee had already been reached, displaying great customer care".
"Your professional help with the EHCP has been superb. We appreciate the many hours that went into totally rewriting it and all of the subsequent help and advice with the LA. A year down the line, I have just received a call from school to say what an outstanding term my child is having; indeed is now happy, settled and frankly a different child. Their self esteem has increased dramatically. Plans are being made for their future with talk of Maths GCSE a year early! No longer just working on all the SEN!! Once again, thank you for all your amazing support, help and advice".
"Julie went over and above the call of duty and was always there when we needed her!"
